What is Cheese?
Cheese is the largest international fair dedicated to cheeses made with raw milk.
Organized by Slow Food and the Municipality of Bra, in Piedmont, it takes place biennially in the streets of the town.
It is a celebration of national and international cheese biodiversity: hundreds of producers, as well as workshops, conferences, themed areas, and a market that brings the historic center’s streets to life with local and international products.
Since 1997, Cheese has contributed to educating consumers and operators about the authenticity of local food and its preservation. Cheese, in fact, is much more than a fair: it is a journey into gastronomic culture, where small producers, cheesemakers, affineurs, chefs, and enthusiasts meet.
