Be Grapeful – the new collaboration between BraufactuM and La Granda

Autumn opens with an exceptional collaboration uniting two realities deeply connected to European brewing culture: BraufactuM, the historic German brewery pioneering the Craft Beer Revolution in Germany, and La Granda, among the protagonists of the Italian craft scene.
The result is Be Grapeful – Grape German Ale, ninth release of the Be Grapeful project: a series of Italian Grape Ale (IGA) style beers exploring the encounter between beer and wine.

A project uniting cultures and territories

Be Grapeful is an international creative laboratory that over the past two years has involved breweries from Denmark, England, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands and Ireland, reinterpreting classic styles with a wine-making soul each time.
The latest creation, Be Grapeful – Grape German Ale, draws inspiration from the Kölsch tradition, merging the elegance and clean character typical of the German style with the aromatic freshness of Moscato. A union celebrating BraufactuM’s ability to innovate while respecting the Reinheitsgebot, the Purity Law of 1516, symbol of German brewing quality.

Led by Marc Rauchmann and a team of highly experienced master brewers, BraufactuM has paved the way for a new interpretation of beer in Germany: combining technical rigor and sensory research, it has brought ancient styles back to life and experimented with new influences, remaining faithful to tradition while continuing to look forward.
This collaboration with La Granda represents a new chapter in this journey, where German quality meets Italian flair to create a unique and authentic product.

La Granda: the creative soul of Italian beer

Born in the heart of the Cuneo region, La Granda represents one of the most vibrant and experimental realities on the Italian brewing scene. With the Be Grapeful project, the brewery has brought its vision of cultural cross-pollination to the world, combining technical precision with artisanal passion and a deep connection to the territory. Its Italian Grape Ales, created with Moscato grape must from the Vite Colte winery, are the symbol of an approach that looks beyond style boundaries, transforming each collaboration into a shared story between beer, wine and creativity.
